Areas of expertise

Environmental standards are complex. My role is to make the law understandable and give you a clear picture of the risks and legal solutions.

I am committed to providing comprehensive, reliable, and up-to-date legal analysis, and to anticipate risks, potential appeals, the expectations of the administration, and the potential impacts on the project.

The firm can assist you in the following ways:

  • In the preliminary phase of your projects: by conducting a feasibility study with regard to applicable environmental and planning regulations;
  • In the early stages of your projects: by conducting a comprehensive environmental audit (site/activity history, legality of the cessation of activity procedure, transfer of environmental authorizations, analysis of soil conditions in light of environmental studies, risk analysis, and solutions);
  • During the implementation phase of your projects: assistance in obtaining the various authorizations required (ICPE, protected species, land clearing, building permits, etc.) and liaison with local public authorities, drafting of environmental clauses and environmental liabilities with notaries;
  • During the operational phase of your projects: analysis of environmental regulations applicable to the operation of the facility (ICPE), waste management, advice and assistance during administrative inspections (formal notices, etc.), regulatory monitoring (chemicals, etc.), product compliance before marketing (extended producer responsibility (EPR), consumer information, environmental characteristics, etc.);
  • At the end of the operation: assistance with the procedure of termination of activity and restoration of land, determination of the future use, liaison with the competent administrative authorities, establishment of easements where applicable;
  • During litigation: legal advice and representation before the competent courts.
