Cathy Morales Frénoy

Cathy Morales Frénoy works exclusively on issues related to environmental law, planning law, and animal law.
Member of the Paris and New York Bar Associations
A lawyer for over ten years, admitted to the New York Bar in 2013 and the Paris Bar in 2018, I specialize in industrial environmental law.
I created my own law firm to practice independently, offer a more human approach, and put my expertise to work on meaningful projects.
I have worked for several years in leading specialized law firms, assisting private and public actors in complex matters.
I advise my clients on environmental law, particularly on issues related to polluted sites and soils, classified facilities (ICPE), waste and the circular economy, data centers, chemicals (REACH and POP regulations), PFAS and nanoparticles, as well as biodiversity, protected species, agrivoltaics, and the sale/acquisition and rehabilitation of industrial sites.
I provide both advisory and litigation services, in the early stages of projects, during their implementation, or in crisis management (accidents, pollution, administrative notices, appeals).
I also have in-depth knowledge of animal law, having written the book “Le droit animal” (Animal Law, published by L’Harmattan, 2017) and participated in various seminars and conferences.
I speak French, English, and Spanish.
